Nafliva Chocolate
Nafliva chocolate is part of the liver health products line by NatureKue. The active ingredients are identical to those in LiverSupport, however, the difference is that it is a delicious dark chocolate with a slight mint flavor. With many of the drugs, vitamins, and supplements being in pill form, it is nice knowing that you can get the same health benefits by eating a piece of dark chocolate. However, this product is not made for those who have a soy allergy, diabetes, or who are watching their weight and calories. For those people, it will be more beneficial for them to take the LiverSupport capsule instead.
Science backed formula
Nafliva chocolate has over 35 patents worldwide and has undergone clinical trial testing to ensure that the product is safe, effective, and has the health benefits consumers are looking for in a liver health supplement. In a randomized, placebo-controlled study independent of dietary factors, daily consumption of Pu’er Tea (PTE), the main ingredient in Nafliva Chocolate, was associated with reduced body mass index and an improved lipid profile. This improvement in lipid profiles is important because increased fat stores in the body can lead to increased fat deposits on the liver, causing damage and leading to chronic diseases like non-alcoholic fatty liver.
Ingredients
Nafliva Chocolate is a natural dietary supplement made by confectioners using the finest natural ingredients. These ingredients work together to create powerful liver health benefits.
- Pu’er Tea Extract (PTE) is the main ingredient and discussed in depth later in this blog.
- Milk Thistle Powder is a flowering herb that contains an antioxidant compound that helps with inflammation in the liver related to hepatitis or cirrhosis. It also improves overall health by improving cholesterol levels.
- Sunflower Lecithin is derived from sunflower seeds and has been shown to improve liver health by breaking down fat and lowering cholesterol. Studies show that taking lecithin can lower LDL cholesterol by 56% and total cholesterol by 42%.2
- Choline is an essential nutrient that supports lipid metabolism and liver health. The liver produces some choline, but most of the choline in the body needs to come from food or supplementation. Choline helps improve brain function and memory, helps the liver and muscles work correctly, and helps lipids break down and convert into energy.3
- Vitamin D3 is an essential nutrient your body needs to help build and maintain healthy bones. It also has antioxidant and neuroprotective benefits that support immune health, muscle function, and brain cell activity.4 Vitamin D isn’t naturally found in many foods, so supplementation is often needed.
Other ingredients that are used to make the chocolate component of this supplement, and not considered active ingredients, are organic semi-sweet chocolate, organic cane sugar, organic cocoa butter, and peppermint oil. Nafliva chocolate does not contain and is not manufactured with common allergens like wheat, egg, fish, shellfish, peanuts, or milk. However, it does contain soy, so taking the LiverSupport capsule is recommended if allergic to soy or soy products.
Pu’er Tea
Pu’er Tea (PTE), also known as Deepure Tea, is the main ingredient in Nafliva Chocolate. Pu’er tea has been clinically studied for its benefits associated with liver and lipid health maintenance. With over 10 studies published and other studies underway, the benefits of this herb are impressive. Benefits include improvement to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, anti-hypercholesterolemia effects, improved lipid profile, improved body composition, and reduced body mass index. These benefits are achieved through its ability to enter the liver and reduce fatty deposits, leading to improved cholesterol and lipid profiles. Improved lipid levels can help with non-alcoholic fatty liver and the health issues that accompany it.
